Riding a bike is a lot of fun, and it’s good for your health. You get out of the house, away from TV, or computer screen and you get to enjoy nature. However it might not be for you, because lets face it, we’re not all built the same. Not everyone can take out the time to ride the bike, or handle it physically. That’s why it might be a good idea to rent cycling equipment, instead of buying.
Bike rental – good way of testing to see if cycling is for you
Let’s be honest, we’ve all started hobbies that never fully caught on. I personally have a bunch of woodworking tools that I ordered that I thought are going to be used for creating cabinets/speaker stands for my desk. I had dozens of other projects lined up, but all those tools are just sitting there, in the shop, collecting dust.
We here at Cactus Bike realize that this could easily happen to people interested in cycling, that’s why we recommend bike rental as an alternative to buying bikes for those who have absolutely never rode a bike as adults. Look up shops in your local area that specialize in bike rental. There’s bound to be some. Rent a bike, ride it for a month and see if you like it. Then if you like it, look into buying one, but only then. Don’t waste your money on something that might not be your thing. As always, stay safe.
